Background

Hope Enterprise Corporation (HEC) was one of 60 states, nonprofits and municipalities that was awarded a Solar for All grant by the EPA. The Solar for All awards are part of the larger Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and are intended to fund residential-serving solar projects that reduce household energy costs for families in low-income and disadvantaged communities (LIDACs) in Mississippi and Arkansas.

HEC’s Solar for All Products and Programs

HEC is delivering these new projects and cost savings using a three-pronged product and program approach:

Residential Lease Program

HEC is partnering with vetted solar companies to provide Arkansas and Mississippi homeowners with rooftop solar systems that must lead to at least 20% bill savings.
